We are awaiting info from Matt's study abroad course. We believe he has to be at North Carolina Uni by the 17th August. If we are correct we will fly into Orlando on the 25th July then leave around 14th or 15th August and take a few days to drive up there.

Reid, you go regularly from Scotland: Do you find it better to go at the start of the school summer holidays rather than August, or is your timing dictated by other factors?

Wow those prices are awesome but when I plug in my dates it's not coming in any lower than $1400 per adult which is still more than the £3000 we paid for 2adults and 2 children with BA. Must be our dates and the Channel Islands leg making our price so much higher. Happy flight hunting!!!

Best deals seem to be from London unfortunately.

What do you think to this price?
London to Boston (stay in Boston 2 nights) Boston to Orlando Orlando to New York (stay in NY for 4 nights) New York to London £600.00 each. This is economy, but still seems like a fab price, what do you think? All flights are via Delta. Annette x |

Booked yesterday through Orbitz but now looking for a friend. There seem to be hundreds of flights now all around £420. You can even book directly on Air Canada for this price, I have flown with them a couple of times and really like them. Also on United. Will be interesting to see how long these flights last. I thought it might be a bit of a glitch yesterday but obviously not if several different airlines now booking at these prices. Still cant believe I got 3 flights for £1245. I will get my Flight, 21 day Disney tickets, car hire and taxi to Heathrow for less than I paid for just my flight last year!

Its something we would like to do again but with flight & hotel costs to NY its not going to happen soon. The hotel we stayed in cost us £150/nt, now it would be £350+/nt

Hi Wayne, Thanks for the heads up just booked with United via Newark for £460 going 20th July - 10th August so hope to see you out there.
Got a 9 hour lay over so thinking of getting a hotel in Newark for the night as that seems to work out. Weren't that bothered about how long it takes as it was so cheap so thanks again, just the car hire to sort out. Hope Matt got off okay and you get your dates confirmed for the 25th. |

Thanks Wayne for this thread. After a big holiday this year and direct flight prices being at £3,500 mark , 2 adults and 2 kids, I thought we may not get back to Orlando in 2013. However, indirect flights showing at around £1600 for the 4 of is we may be able to make it
