please give me your opinion. should i reserve now??

I've been going back and forth on wether or not to reserve now for our jan. trip. I always use expedia (got lots of points earned) so i thought i can reserve the 2 rooms for a value hotel now so they don't run out but at the same time i was waiting to see if special offers for my dates come up. if they do can i call expedia and have them change them or should i canncel and book again? what should i do??

Jan 2013? If so I would say definitely book now. if you are interested in ADRs it will give you definite days of your stay so that you know when to book. Also a lot of the restaurants fill up quickly and should be booked 180 days out from your reservation date. If you mean 2014, you have tons of time.

If you are talking 2013...I would do so asap on Oct. 10th when the discount comes out (see the discounts board). You may be struggling to get the room you want if you wait.

As the poster above said, if you are talking 2014...es, that is a long ways off.

If you book on Expedia now you won't be able to take advantage of the discount coming out on Wednesday. I would wait and book on Wednesday.

I'd wait till Oct 10 and phone at 7:00 am when reservations open. Booking now does not guarantee that you'll get the room you want when discounts come out, and you'd still have to phone to apply discount.
I def would never book on Expedia or those sites, because you won't be able to get any WDW room discounts when released. Or make any changes if necessary.
