Adult only pool/sun decks on Fantasy?

Hi,

We are on the Fantasy 11/3/12! Just DH and I!

What are the adult only areas like? Is there a sun deck and will it be crowded like the decks around the pools?

Is the adult only pool outside?

We have a veranda, but not sure they are big enough to do more than sit?

Thanks for any input!

You will LOVE the adult areas on the Fantasy! Not crowded at all. I highly recommend Satellite Falls in the bow area for a quiet napping place and then there is the adult pool/bar area to hang out in for a more social atmosphere. I have never seen any of those areas any where near as crowded as the family areas. Enjoy!

May Fantasy....there were times when all the chairs right around the pool were occupied either by people or flip flops, etc. However, there were always seats in the more secluded, shady areas if I wanted to read or whatever. The chairs in the sun did seem to turn over pretty regularly for the most part--not a whole lot of chairs being hogged by a bag or a shoe.

It was less crowded than on the Magic typically.

Satellite Falls is fabulous. The most I ever saw up there were 7 people. It was so peaceful and a perfect way to relax.

Totally agree! Satellite Falls was my favorite area on the ship.

We LOVED the adult only sun deck area around Satelite Falls. It was not crowded any of the days during our 7 day cruise and it was deserted on port days. Satelittle Falls is relaxing and there is a bar nearby to get something to drink if you're so inclined. The best part...no kids, no noise.

Is there a decent amount of shade at Satellite Falls? I plan on spending a lot of time there in a few weeks.

I 'third' this. Although not exactly calm and relaxing when the ship is in motion. It can get a wicked current and blow people around the pool if you are sitting all the way in the pool and not in the seats.

Satellite falls does not have a cover directly over it, but there is a covering over some lounge chairs real close to it. It would depend on the time of day. I guess you could say that it kind of has a little bit of it's own covering but not much.

Satellite falls is a small sitting pool/waterfall area for adults. It's quite relaxing, and I found it to be both shady and sunny, depending what you wanted. I would say it was the most relaxing place I found on our Fantasy cruise.

Agree - Satellite Falls is great, but it can be very windy since it is top deck forward. The adult pool area, Quiet Cove, varies in attendance, but my DD and I enjoyed sitting in the shallow bar pool, sipping on a favorite drink, with or without alcohol. It was also shady in some areas, necessary since neither one of us can be in the sun. My DH and I have done one childless (grandchildren) cruise, with another scheduled next year - great times and different atmosphere with/without little ones.

We were on the Fantasy 9/22-29, six adults with no kids. We spent most of our time in those areas! There was lots of turnover at Satellite Falls in regards to chairs. I chair hopped a few days, between sunny and shady areas. It was really relaxing up there.

The main adult pool seemed crowded to me all the time - we spent a few hours there on embarkation day, but that was basically it.

I also spent a few hours reading in the small pool on deck 12. That was lovely.
