Is it worth it to go here without doing any of the animal activities or should we just do some other beach altogether?
We have a 6 and 3 year old.

We were there in April as part of our Jeep tour. We liked it so much we decided is we go back to Cozumel we will spend the day there. There is a nice little cove with a tiny beach that is perfect for little ones. We didn't get to see much of it and look forward to exploring a little more next time.

It is more expensive than some of the other beaches if you just want a beach day. Paradise beach is free admission; rent what you want on the beach. They sell packages, but these are overpriced.
For bigger kids, $10 gets a wristband for all non-motorized water toys for the day.

Paradise Beach is lovely, clean facilities with beach, pool and changing rooms. Good food and the inflatables were a blast for kids and adults.

It depends on where exactly you're talking about. My group and I went there for the beach horseback riding. First, we rode on our horses and ride to the jungle, hills, farmland, and then back to the station. We got off the horse for a 15 mins break then back on the horse for beach riding. Yep, our horses swam in the beach and it was fun.

We use the bus and it was nice to have a/c on, especially during hot Cozumel weather. The bus ride last no more than 30 minutes and yes, we had to drive thru the very poor town and it wasn't pleasant to see the area.
