Big Reveal Scavenger Hunt
I'm SO excited and I know my FB friends are sick of hearing it, so I'm sharing here!
We are leaving the day after Thanksgiving for my kids' (ages 7, 5, and 2) first Disney World trip and their first trip on a plane! My parents and inlaws are all going with us. My husband and I came up with a scavenger hunt that leads them upstairs, then back downstairs and out the front door, where my parents and my inlaws will all be waiting on our porch with Mickey Ears on (and video cameras in hand). I'm a little afraid it's going to backfire and I'll have mad kids instead of excited ones, but we have talked with them about Disney, shown them videos and pictures and they're excited to go one day... little do they know, one day is a little over 2 weeks from now!

Time to get Excited
This is definitely something to be excited about
!Just keep in mind that if your kids aren't as excited as you thought they would be when they first find out ... that you've had time to think and get excited about it. They will be hearing the news for the first time and may need some time for everything to sink in. When my son finds out about his upcoming surprise time, at first I think he will be nervous about missing school. He hates to miss school. After we reassure him that all will be okay ... and everything is worked out ... and he believes that ... then I'm sure he will very excited. At least that is the plan !
