Don't freak out to much about rain forecasts. We web the weak hurricane Isaac was positioned to hit Florida. We only ended up having about 3 hours of rain while we were in Epcot. We bought ponchos and had a fabulous time!!! Crowds were super low because people get scared off by rain. The rest of the trip we had rain forecasted for every single day and didn't get a drop. By the end of the week, it was so hot we were secretly wishes for a little rain to cool thing off a bit. Being at WDW in the rain is really not that bad!

We were there during Tropical Storm Debbie. 2 full days of rain. Where were we? In our panchos visiting the parks. We rode rides, met characters, watched parades and enjoyed the not so crowded park. It'll be how you make it out to be. When we went, characters that normally appear outside will not be outside. Those characters sometimes move to alternate locations that are indoors. We found this especially at Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Just ask a CM if you want to know where one will be and they can help you out. The only thing we found to not be running was the Lights Motor Action Stunt Show at Hollywood Studios. For the most part, everything else kept operating as normal. Our feet got soaked and our clothes ended up a little wet but it surely didn't ruin our trip. We enjoyed it to the fullest still. Get panchos or rain jackets and embrace it.
