Vegetarian food at WDW???

Hi

What's the options for vegetarians at WDW??? I have recently become vegetarian, so it has never been an issue at WDW for me.

Can you recommend/or not recommend some restaurants, quick food places etc.??? What do you eat at the parks? Do you find it hard to find some good non-meat food??

Veggie dining has become very easy at WDW. Every restaurant offers a vegetarian option, just speak to your server. Boma, Sanaa and Jiko have some of the best choices if you are a little adventurous. The new AOA resort also has some great choices in there food court. Have fun and happy eating!

I am not a vegetarian, but I do enjoy meatless meals from time to time. We just returned from WDW last week and I found a new favorite CS meal. At Restaurantosaurus at AK, there is a grilled vegetable sub on the menu. It was fantastic!! It has melted cheese (provolone, I believe) and the grilled vegetables included zucchini, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms (I didn't dissect the sandwich to see exactly what was on it, I was too busy devouring it). The bread itself is a sub roll and did not appeared to be grilled--it was soft.

I had another grilled vegetable sandwich later in the week at HS at the Backlot Express and I was not as impressed. That one was done panini style and the whole sandwich was grilled flat. It was not as flavorful as the one in AK and was just ok.

I am a vegetarian and have had some great meals, namely Le Celier, California Grill, Teppan Edo and Kona Cafe. Most menus have a vegetarian entree option as well as apps on it. Both Peco Bills and Cosmic Rays have veggie burgers, as well as the Sci-Fi in HS. I wasn't too thrilled with the options at Electric Umbrella in Epcot, Sunshine Seasons has a much better selection.

The vegetarian plate at Tangerine Cafe is terrific. I'm not a vegetarian, but I become one at Tangerine Cafe (meaning I order it).

Thank you so much for all your ideas and tips. I sounds like I don't have to worry about getting good food :-)
