I live in southern CT (5 miles inland) & so far it is just some yellows that are out. I haven't seen my favorite reds yet (sugar maples).

Can I suggest Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway? The leaves in that area are projected to peak in two weeks and it is breathtaking to see all of the beautiful colors in the mountains!

Here is what part of upstate NY looks like today. We are getting close to peak in some areas and have a lot of green in others.

I'm near Binghamton. I wish I could have taken some of the other hills that I saw on my drive today, but there was no way to safely pull over. I heard that colors wouldn't be good this year, but it's just beautiful out there.

We leave next Friday for our anniversary weekend. Hoping the "changing of the leaves" is not complete!

I'm in Norther Utah, and it's over. There is still color out there, but many of the leaves have already fallen or appear brown. Peak was over a week ago for the reds and oranges. The peak for yellows was late last week. We were at Disneyland when the reds peaked, so I missed those.

Here is NH. http://www.visitnh.gov/4-seasons/fal...e-tracker.aspx

The leaves in my area (Dartmouth/Lake Sunapee) are on their way to changing. I just wish the sun would come out and brighten them up.

Nice, my SIL's family is from that area, and we used to camp at Chenango Valley when I was a kid.

We were hoping to take the kids hiking this weekend in the Ithaca area. Keeping an eye on the weather.

Mohonk Mountain house is beautiful. We were there last weekend and I would say in 2 weeks it is going to be amazing. You could fly into Westchester, Albany or Stewart, NY.

THANK YOU!!

All of these pictures are so breathtaking.

Not sure where we will sneak off too yet.

I wish I had a camper to just drive all over the North and take in these sights live.

Why does my husband feel he needs to go to work everyday???
It really cuts into my vacation plans!!!!!!
