Pull down bunk

I have a Tween age 13 for our cruise in Aug on Dream. Should I be worried bout her taking the Bunk seeing she thinks she's to old for that??? I was like how bout you pay for your own stateroom

Is she your only kid? If she doesn't want the bunk then put her on the couch bed.

My DS is 15 and he has never questioned being in the top bunk. He just wants a place to sleep

I slept in the top bunk once and I am three times your daughter's age. Not sure why she couldn't

I am with you... if she doesn't like the bedding she can pay for her own cabin LOL!

Our 18 y/o DD slept up there cuz 21 y/o DS was on the couch. No complaints, just glad to be on a cruise.

Our kids wanted the top bunk but our room didn't have one, only the murphy bed and the couch.

We had a murphy bed and a ceiling bunk on our last cruise. I don't know why, but DS17 chose to sleep in the ceiling bunk. I guess he likes it up there.

Thats funny!! The things we do for kids!

I didn't know about the rooms without the top bunk and a murphy bed instead. Thats a good alternative!

My almost 13 year old daughter loves the bunk. It makes it seem more like your actually on a ship then sleeping on a sofa bed.

Our Ds17 slept up there too. We don't have bunks at home. We had to ask our attendant to fix it up for him.

That will be me.

We rented a nice three bedroom condo last year and somehow I ended up in a twin in the same room as my 4 year old. Anything for sleep!

My kids all fought over who got the top bunk, UNTIL we got on the ship. Then they all fought over who didn't have to sleep up there. Since there were 4 of us in the room I had the queen bed split. My 6 year old ended up sleeping with her 11 year old sister for 2 nights on one of the 'twin' beds. It didn't look that bad, but of course I didn't try it out.
