Luau dinner shows

Has anyone been to both the Disney Luau dinner show and the Seaworld Luau dinner show? How do they compare with regards to the food & show? My husband & daughter will both have birthday on the day we plan to attend the show. Do you think they would do anything special for them?

If you're already on Disney property, I'd say just set up the Poly Luau and take the monorail right there. Tell them when you get there about your special event and I bet they'll do something.

It's Disney, it's fun, it's what Walt wanted. Go to the Disney show!

We really enjoyed it. Be sure to bring a quality camera too. Before or after the show you can take wonderful individual or family photos on the beach. And when you get them develeped, made into an 8X10, and framed, everyone will love the picture and then you can point out the Magic Kingdom's Cinderella's Castle in the background. Makes a great pic!

Has anyone been to both the Disney Luau dinner show and the Sea World Luau dinner show?
. . . yes. we have
. . . we do Sea World about once every two years with others
. . . our group get discount tickets
. . . of course, we also get discounts at the Poly

How do they compare with regards to the food & show?
. . . Sea World is far better for food quality
. . . Sea World is far better for entertainment
. . . Sea world is far more authentic and not as Corny

My husband & daughter will both have birthday on the day we plan to attend the show.
Do you think they would do anything special for them?
. . . no
. . . there is a general acknowledgment for ALL celebrations
. . . there are just too many people with "special" days to individualize

Really? That's too bad. I've heard great things about it and I've always wanted to try it.

Yes, if you purchase the photo package for about $32.00.

was very disappointed that Sea world got rid of theirs, I had made reservations back in July for Oct because I had read reviews that theirs was the best. Then in Aug they refunded my money and said they were getting rid of it
