Booked a vaca with banked points, need to switch dates...help
I booked a stay for April with banked points and need to change my date to February instead. If I cancel my reservation for April will the banked points I used go back into my bank? My account says that my banked points expire August 2013.

Banked points will remain in the use year that they were banked into, but you will keep the points if you cancel at least 30 days in advance. You also cannot bank the points again.

I did this just last week and because I was afraid that they would not go back into my account immediately I called member services and asked to change the reservation. I wanted to make certain the banked points were used first. Now some of them are not only banked but in holding because the new reservation used less points and I was within 2 weeks of the trip. You at least won't have that problem.
