Looking for ideas to announce pregnancy at WDW

I know I may be jumping the gun here but there is a good chance I might get that + either right before we leave for our trip or while there (praying it happens!!) I've always done something memorable to tell hubby & the kids we're expecting. I was just thinking how neat it would be to surprise them while at Disney but I'm looking for some specific ideas as I have never been one to blurt it out, that's too easy. I'd love some suggestions, thanks!

Get a shirt made and then put something over it until you are in a special spot that announces it!! Or maybe you could do something cool at a restaurant, like a cake or something.
So jealous! The last two times I have been to Disney- I've been pregnant and wont be this time.

I was hoping for that chance last year! I wanted to have a picture taken of all of us sitting facing the castle with a pair of ears on and a tiny pair of ears on the ground next to DS... And he'd have been wearing a shirt with mickey ears on the back with "brother" over them where the name on a jersey would go.

I Good friend of mine had a shirt made with a pair of Mickey Ears printed on her stomach. It said "babies first trip." They had her picture made in front of the castle and send the pictures out to everyone! It was so cute!!

Aw, that's adorable! I just realized this morning that I am over a week late. Which has only happened five other times, and I was pregnant each time I am and all at the same time! I can't decide whether to wait to tell dh until Disney, but I am definitely thinking of waiting to tell the kids or anyone else

Excuse me while I go freak out Trying to figure out when I can go grab a test without tipping dh off!

I found out that I was pregnant with our last the day we were leaving for WDW. When we got to Magic Kingdom, I sent him off with the other two to grab something and quickly located a CM and told them my news and that I really wanted to surprise my husband. They were so excited and said to meet them at a special meet n greet with Cindy at Town Hall at a certain time.

While we were getting our pics taken with our the royal couple, Mickey Mouse busts into the room with a giant box that says "From Mickey" on the top. My husband opens the box, and inside was a sweet yellow onesie, baby's first ears and tons of Mickey confetti. On the inside lid, he wrote "Gosh, Congratulations on your new baby! Ha-ha! Your Pal, Mickey Mouse".

The look on his face was priceless.....3 minutes later when he finally figured it out!

Oh that is AWESOME!!! Maybe I will see if I can pull that off as I just saw the second faint line yesterday!!!! We leave tomorrow and my husband & my birthdays & anniversary are on Monday so I am going to hold out till then to surprise everyone. I would LOVE if a CM would help me pull something like that off!!!!!

I had no idea that was how you told your husband. That is truly awesome! (And way better than the way Joey found out about this one!)

Congratulations! We did this back when the "Dream Team" was in full force, but I cannot imagine that any CM wouldn't want to be part of such an amazing surprise! Let us know how you do it!

First one I was able to surprise him on, Justine! Still have everything in the box. I had put it away and by the time I remembered, Luca was too big to fit the onesie! Now I'll save it for his his kids!

To announce our oldest, I was in DH's work town and he asked me to bring him lunch. Instead of a value meal, I got him a kids meal. It took him a bit, "Oh, did you order the wrong meal?" "Oh, did they give you the wrong meal?" ...

Got the positive about 2 hours ago!!! Now I just have to decide how to tell dh! We have a month until our trip, and having done this so many times, I'm pretty sure he will figure it out before then. I've always just blurted it out, or he knew I suspected and so found out within a minute or two of me finding out. I don't know if we will get to do this again, so I do want it to be special.

I do think I am going to try to keep the news quiet and get a good announcement shot for friends and family while at WDW!

Arrange with the front desk to have baby mickey's put on all their pillows so when you come in from the day the announcement will be waiting!
