Ticket Question? EMH?

If I go into a park during EMH after midnight, and go in later on that day, is that considered 1 day of park usage or two?

For example during the holiday season some parks are open until 3 a.m.

I would go in after midnight, let's say 12:01 - December 31st and can I still go into the park on December 31st using the same park day?

That would be 2 days. It goes by park opening time not by the clock time you enter the park.

The extra magic hours from 12:01 to 3 AM on December 31 are an extension of December 30 (24:01 to 27:00).

Then at 8 AM or 9 AM or whenever the parks open for December 31 you can go to a different park with a non-hopping ticket (which must have at least one more day remaining).
Last Disney trip: December 2010.
Today's riddle: Q: Why are there these 20 foot timber or stucco walls between the freeway and people's back yards? A: So people living there don't put up huge Christmas light displays and distract passing motorists.

As others have said, it would be 2 days. 1 day at WDW is considered from when the first of the four parks open until the last park closes. It's not a 9am to midnight per day type of ticket
