MK area restaurants, which to pick?

My BF and I will be on our annual Food and Wine Festival trip at the end of October.

One of our days we are planning to enjoy MK on a party night, so it will close early. We know we want to have cocktails at Mizner's, and we did consider going up to the lounge at the top of BLT to watch Hallowwishes at 9:30. We are renting points at SSR so it's kind of up in the air if we will even be able to get in. I'm not sure it's worth going over to the Contemporary, or the potential embarrassment!

I'm thinking we'd like to do a nice dinner in the MK area. We've eaten and Cali Grill (loved it!) and Narcoosee's (just ok, but great view of Wishes). Thinking I'd like to try something new.

I've heard so much about V&A, but I'm not sure I want to spend THAT much. Can anyone suggest a restaurant? Thoughts on Citricos? I just love everything about the GF. What about the cafe there? Maybe we should go back to Cali Grill. Or venture elsewhere. I'm indecisive!!

Thanks in advance for the help!

I have dined at all of the signatures and for those on the dining plan, I think that Citricos is the best. The menu is not extensive but the dishes offered are very good.

Regarding V&A: There's really no comparison to V&A with any other restaurant on property. You get five courses plus an amouse bouche. If you were to order that much food at Citricos, you would be paying the same price. V&A is more than a meal, it's an event.

At the moment, Citricos and Cali Grill are my 2 favorite restaurants. If you want to try something new I would highly recommend Citricos!

It is.

My favorites in the area are California Grill and Artist Point. The former would be a good spot to watch HalloWishes, especially if you manage to get a table in the lounge. I don't think you'll be able to get in to the Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower if you're renting points. I think you need to be an actual DVC owner and show your card to get in.

DH and I loved Citricos. It is definitely in our must-dos along with Cali Grill and Jiko.
