We enjoyed the fireworks from the veranda in 12510. DH and I didn't go to the party and the kids said they couldn't see anything so they came back to the cabin.
If you want to see the show, you'd have to rush back to the cabin to see the fireworks.

The cat v connecting to the royal suites on the dream have a tv on the wall opposite the bed I think. The larger balconies are nice but the room sizes are the same

To me, the doors are so beautiful, I didn't want to see them covered up with magnets. The rooms are close to the lounge, which is nice.

Have a great trip!
There is not a wood veneer over the door. It is a paint application not actual wood. So yes, as this poster indicated you can do magnets. But you can't use the normal magnets, must do the heavy duty. Also, due to the wind gusts from opening up the outside doors, even the heavy duty magnets tend to slide. So to be respectful of the doors, please put a piece of tissue paper between the magnet and the door in the event the wind gets them. That way they will simply drop to the floor rather than scratch the door.

We stayed in a regular room this past cruise and many of the FEs were magnets. We took them off the door as soon as we noticed them so they wouldn't get stolen or vandalized. The first day we left them and noticed the next morning several missing. My daughter was devastated. So they didn't stay on the door for the rest of the cruise. It's no fun to watch a little one have a melt down for something so inconsequential.

We just got off the fantasy in room 12526, a 1br suite. We were on the starboard side of the ship. Same as 12508-10. The third 5 in the stateroom number indicates starboard. We face the port in PC and faced the beaches in CC. The fireworks are easily visible from the starboard deck 12 verandas. You will receive a letter asking you not go out on your balcony during the fireworks, but as the concierge stated, that is only to remove the risk from Disney and she told us it was ok and many do.

We were in 12504 in early September. Our magnetic decorations would not stick to the door at all.
