Yeap, mine dropped off big time. For a while there was a bunch of new attractions coming on line. More recently, nothing new and cuts in the preshow and live entertainment.

Yes. The last 2 trips were just not as fun as before. The food is the same everywhere in the parks, the good dining experiences were just mediocre, and experience just was not as magical for us. It may be that our tolerance for other people has gone down, but it feels like the whole experience was not as good. Our stay on property was awful. The hotel was noisy, bed uncomfortable, and the type of room we had reserved was not available when we arrived. We did really enjoy Universal.

Ours have, we went this past August after a 2yr hiatus and I don't have the same burning urge to start planning another trip. I think it will be a few years before we go back again.

Ours have. When the kids were young we went 1-3x a year. Once they got older we started exploring other parts of the world. Since they're now young adults they like going to other places. Last two trips its been 1x about every year and a half and its been just me and my mom (we're the disney lovers).

I thought ours would once our kids reached college age but I was wrong. We go more than ever now, in fact we just purchased some more DVC points on the resale market. This year I have gone with DH, with DH and the kids, with my mother, with a friend and, soon, with DH and another couple.

I have never experienced a decline in the Magic that others speak of so I guess I am very lucky. On my most recent visit I spent 5 nights at Jambo House and had a wonderful time. This year we have hit all of the DVC resorts at least once and each has been great.

We went seven times from 2004 to 2010, and we haven't been since then. We planned a beach vacation for 2010, for something different, and then my cousin got married at the Outrr Banks in 2011 and DH was her photographer, so that was our vacation that year. DH had his hours cut unexpectedly in January and was looking at a possible layoff at the end of this month, so we didn't take a vacation at all this year.

He starts a new job Monday, and we're starting to think about Disney for next May.

Ours have! We went years in a row when my daughter was younger- just starts to get boring going to the the same place. We took a 2 year break and went back this year for 2 weeks- will be the last one in a long time, we are both pretty disneyed out. My daughter is 12 now and wants to go to places like Mt. Rushmore, Grand Canyon, and yellowstone national park- so we will be heading to those the next few years.

We're probably not going back until 2015 at the absolute earliest, although it's likely to be even later than that. It's just too expensive at the moment and we want to leave a big gap so that we're really excited for our next trip.

We want to spend more time travelling around Europe too. So much more affordable than going to WDW!

Not yet, but the sort of trips we take has changed from WDW being our big annual family vacation to more of a weekends and special events destination. Doing Disney and only Disney was great when we had a toddler but now that she's getting to be school aged the rest of the world is calling. We still love WDW but there are a lot of other places we want to go and DH's vacation time is limited, so Disney is becoming more of a weekend escape destination for us (often without DH - just me and one or all of the kids) while we branch out to other places for our big family trips.

Next year, for example, I'll be going at least 4 times and might add a 5th, but one trip is solo, one with just DH, one with just DS, one with just my girls, none longer than 3-4 nights, all around some specific event like Food & Wine or Star Wars Weekend.

Mine have, we used to go twice a year. Our last trip was 2 years ago and we don't have any planned.

A lot of it is financial. When we first started going regularly we had one child under 3. Now we have 3 kids, 2 of which are adults by Disney standards.

Plus now that one child is in middle school I don't want to pull them out for vacations. We always went during slow season. Now we would have to go during school vacations or the summer. Which really doesn't appeal to me.

...ditto....our last was over 2 years ago, and that stay wasn't even on-property....we have generous friends, who invited us to stay with them at their timeshare....

Horseshoe Mesa - 3 miles, 31 switchbacks & 2500 vertical feet down and ALL that way back UP to the rim!
I always wondered why, of all the animals on earth, they would pick a hippo

Yep - ours have dropped way off. We used to go almost every year - 3x one year. We stayed at Swan one weekend in 2010 but didn't go into the parks. We only had one day for parks, couldn't choose just one & couldn't justify the cost of hoppers for 3 of us for one day.

And mediocre food.

We were annual visitors for a long time, now we are cutting back to about every other year. Also we use to go for 7 to 10 days, now 5 days and we're fine.
