Christmas Characters at Resorts

I have read that Christmas characters appear at resorts the week before Christmas. We will be at the world Dec 14 to 23rd and I was wondering what characters appreared last year, where they appreared and when they showed up? How would I go about finding this info while down there without stalking the deluxe resorts?

Thanks!
Ashley

Not sure where you could get that info. but wanted to say that in 2007 we spent Dec.20-26 at AKV & there were no characters at the resort until Xmas Eve.

Daisy and Donald were at AKL when we went to eat at Boma in the evening last December 21st. It was a nice surprise.

That was 5 years ago. Things can and do change.

OP, we visit Disney every year for Christmas. The characters appear in the deluxe resort lobbies and the schedule will be available at each resort. Usually they are out for 4-5 nights, in the evenings, starting the week before Christmas. They will be in their holiday outfits.

We have seen:

Poly: Goofy and Pluto
Contemporary: Scrooge McDuck and Daisy
GF: Mickey and Minnie
Boardwalk: Mickey and Minnie

Hope this helps!

I wasn't implying that this is still the case. That's why I said "In 2007". Hope you weren't being snarky with me. It's just coming across that way to me.

Last Christmas while resort hopping we ran into Scrooge McDuck at the Contemporary and Chip and Dale at the Wilderness Lodge.

That helps me a lot! I will check with the resorts a couple of days after we get there when we enter the week before Christmas Hopefully we will be able to catch a couple of them!
