How did you get Pixar lithograph home?

Someone suggested bringing a 17" tube along to bring home the lithograph that you are given. It sounds like a good idea but if I don't have to pack something extra, that would be good. How did your lithograph arrive home - any damages or crumples?

I don't how big the Pixar lithos are, but on cruises where we were given lithos they were generally about 18X24 and came in a cardboard envelope. We just put them flat in our suitcase and they made it home fine.

One cruise I won a drawing by Don "Ducky" Williams and I rolled it around several pairs of socks and then rolled the whole thing in several tshirts and placed along the long side of my suitcase. It got a little bent in spots, but not bad.

I just carried my onboard the plane..so i had a back pack a wheely bag and it and had no problems. We had a window seat and it fit perfect between the window and the seat and did not get damaged.

Th shape of our suitcases would not allow it to lie flat so that was our only option.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm just going to hope this one comes with cardboard and pack it in the flat outside pocket of our check-in bag and hope for the best.

I had a few to bring home on the Panama cruise and I was able to buy a tube at the gift shop on the Wonder.

That's good to know. There are 3 other families coming and maybe all 4 lithos will fit in one tube.

I'm sure they would. I had several different ones and different sizes too.

It came in a white cardboard envelope. I placed it on top of my clothing in my large suitcase and it made it home just fine.

If any of you use the packing folders like those made by Eagle Creek, you can put paperwork between the fabric bottom of the folder and the rigid plastic insert. I do this all the time and it works great. -- Suzanne
