I will avoid any and all threads that have as the title has anyone ever... Whatever it is, I GUARANTEE you are not the only one in the world who is thinking about it/doing it.

thank you, that is my biggest pet peeve.

I also dislike all the abbreviations, but I understand why people do it. I'm on a laptop so it takes a second to type out the whole thing. For people on phones, or tables, or post a lot, I get why they use abbreviation.

I'm always careful to type "Has Anyone Here Ever...." I only do that if it's kind of an unusual activity too.

I don't like ressie, souvie and all of that either.

Ha, the word panties doesn't bother me either . The abbreviations don't bother me as much, only when a friend of mine uses them on facebook, they look out of place. And people are always asking her what she means by DH, DS, etc anyway so what's the point. Also a pet peeve - a thread that starts off with OT in the title. How can it be off topic if it is the topic?

I hate the expressions:

"quietly excuse myself" and "apologize profusely"

Thank you.

I've never seen anyone use MH or MS before to be honest. Off the bat im not sure i'd even know that means my husband or my son.

I first saw the term DH DS etc on another chat board years ago. I always associate it with "dear", never disney. I dont like the way "disney son" sounds. Lol.

I actually dont like the word panties. Dunno why.

I hate it when people make up abbreviations. Like "RW" would be red wine for example. A coworker wrote me once: "I have to go to SDM to buy a CB, you wanna come". Ya lady, when you stop making up words and type in english MAYBE i'll consider it! sheesh! I dunno what all that means! (apparently SDM is shoppers drug mart, and CB is chocolate bar)

I also specify, but only because people like to snap at you if you don't . It's obvious to me that the person asking such a question is directing the question to the people within listening/reading range, and not to the entire world . But I still specify here on the DIS because I don't want to be made fun of .
