Epcot Center 30th anniversary t-shirts
Just in case anyone who reads this thread is interested, you can order several of the Epcot Center 30th anniversary t-shirts at Disney Store on-line starting today. I would imagine that these shirts will sell out quickly!

Epcot is getting a large chuck of my money THIS year! I love almost all of them! Especially the World Showcase shirts!

I ordered a shirt today. The individual country shirts didn't excite me though, wish they had a composite one.

The Disney store site said they would only be sold until Thursday. We are going to WDW later in October ........ will they have the merchandise at Epcot there then, or is this just a short term item all over?

I wish I knew the answer. I'm going in about three weeks but I didn't take the chance of the shirts not being available so I ordered one. These are the shirts that were released yesterday for the 30th anniversary. Usually the commemorative merchandise is produced in limited quantity. I hate that its going to be 6 to 8 weeks before the shirts are shipped. I'd like to wear it during my upcoming trip.

Well, if it is going to take 6-8 weeks to ship, I think I'll take my chances on getting something while at Epcot in October. That seems odd that it would take that long to ship a t-shirt unless they are only making enough for what is ordered.

I ordered a ladies shirt yesterday. Why does it cost more than a man's? I also think 6-8 weeks for delivery is odd.
If it is limited stock and the shirts doesn't fit, would we be able to exchange them? I ordered a size up, just in case. |

That probably has something to do with it. I've ordered several limited edition t-shirts (MK 40th, Feb 29th 24 hour shirt) and it always takes at least 6 weeks for them to be delivered. I've wondered if they print the number of shirts they need after they're ordered. At least the Disney Store does not charge you for your order until its shipped. If I can find the shirt I ordered when I'm at Epcot in the next few weeks, hopefully I can cancel my order.

I've read some reports from other threads and it appears most of the t-shirts and other commerative merchandise sold out yesterday. So, if you want a t-shirt, I'd get one ordered at Disney Store. You have until 10/2 (I think).

I ordered 2 sizes to see which will fit. I will end up returning or ebaying the size that doesn't fit.

Friend's in Epcot today, sent me an insane picture of a line just to get into the MouseGear store stretching down past the fountain in front of Spaceship Earth. Apparently some of the 30th anniversary merchandise, including some Vinylmations, sold out within minutes of park opening (cast member told them that the only people who had a chance were those who were lined up before 7am to get stuff). Sounded pretty chaotic. Some of the merchandise was on sale earlier (phone cases, some pins, t-shirts), but some just went on sale today.
BTW, the reason the shirts are 6-8 week delivery is because they haven't been printed yet (I think this was indicated in one of the responses on the Disney parks official blog somewhere, I know I read it earlier). I don't think they will "sell out" online because they are making exactly what they need to fulfill the orders. The only ones they printed already were the ones they're selling in the park.
