I'm exhausted and have a scratchy voice this morning. I called over 40 people last night to get their RSVP for our neighborhood picnic this coming Saturday. No one seems to know what an RSVP is anymore.

Today, I'm back on the phone for work and to confirm vendors for the parish home party fair. Again, folks just don't return phone calls or e-mails. And these are the people who already agreed to rent a booth and bring their wares!

So, I'll be restoring my sanity chatting with y'all. Wait, that doesn't sound right, does it?

Alison, there are several homes similar to what you described for sale not too far from me. But somehow, I don't think you're looking to move to the east coast! Which is really too bad, as one of them is in my neighborhood and I'd love to have y'all as neighbors! It's a nice house, but they went overboard on the renovations.

That's funny Aurora! We don't even want to venture more than a mile or two from where we live now! We want to stay where the ocean breezes still reach us. The place we are investigating adding the second story is only one block from the beach.
