That's OK, hopefully another time!

She has been getting slowly better. She's had two of her doses of arthritis meds so that is better. She was supposed to have one today, but both of us have been fighting this upper respiratory thing since we came back from our cruise. They don't want her to get the drugs if she has any sort of infection going on, so we postponed it until next Tuesday. Hopefully the cough will be gone by then.

Her wounds are healing up nicely. There is a chance that her biggest wound may heal up before we go to Florida, but I'm not counting on it. She's now on this thing called MediHoney. The only PITA is that the dressing needs to be changed daily. Even if she is healed up, I need to bring supplies in case she has something break open while we are there. Evidently she has vasculitis which means that her legs can forever keep breaking out in sores.

Her spirits are up some, we went out to dinner tonight at her suggestion of place and the whole idea. I wasn't going to turn down dinner out, even if it involved going to Home Depot first!

Sorry you're not feeling well Jo. That's a cruddy way to start a new year.

Alison you must be holding your breath for your vacation. It is getting so close! Glad to hear Fran's legs are getting so much better.

Am I the only one who can't see the sparkles in our tags? I am just getting red boxes.

I completely understand traveling with an entire drug store. I had a hand size hole in my stomach on our cruise (TMI - I know, sorry

). It took lots of saline, gauze and bandages to take care of that for a week. It was horrible, but I'm really glad I went. Wonderful memories with people I love.

I just don't think about the bad stuff...

I hope you can kick the cough and she can get a treatment before the trip. I'm sure that will make a HUGE difference for her. Give her some hugs from me! She'll love me when she meets me... LOL
