Rotational Dining

Can you choose your own rotational dining schedule or do they make one for you? Also can you go to any restaurant for breakfast and lunch?

You can go to any place for breakfast and lunch.

I know we were assigned our rotation. I'm not sure if you can request any changes or not.

There are specific rotations already set up for each cruise. For example (on the Magic [Animator's Palate, Parrot Cay, Lumiere's] - APLAPLA, or PLAPLAP, or LAPLAPA). You will be assigned to one on the rotations. You find out your rotation when you check in at the port (it will be on your KTTW card.

You can request a specific rotation (you can't build your own), but DCL will point out it's only a request, not guaranteed.

For breakfast and lunch the buffet is open and one of the MDRs. Just check your navigator for which MDR and times.

Dining rotation assignments are pre-determined for you. You will find out your assigned rotation when you check-in and get your KTTW card. You can ask for a certain dining rotation, but it will be a request.

For lunch and dinner (with the exception of morning of debarkation) you can choose to go to a sit down restaurant, a buffet restaurant, the topsides/cabanas, or the quick serves.

Room service is also included, but a gratuity is expected.

I didn't realize there was both a buffet option and a sitdown option in the MDRs at lunch; I thought the MDR offered table service and Cabanas was the buffet option....

Which is correct?

Usually Parrot Cay or Enchanted Garden serve buffet breakfasts and lunches. Check the Navigator for the times of each restaurant.

Lumiere's, Triton's, Royal Palace and Royal Court each serve a sit down breakfast and lunch everyday.

You would call DCL or your TA (if you booked with one) and ask them to put a dining rotation request on your reservation.

I requested through our TA a couple years ago a specific dining rotation on our 7 day Magic Cruise. We got it and I was very happy since our ressie at Palo's was booked with that rotation in mind. As a sidenote, I just did this the other day for our upcoming Fantasy cruise. I hope we get it.
