Hi, Venom! I faxed my requests on Friday; should I have gotten a response? We're checking in on Tuesday.

We have 2 Royal Guest rooms - just the standard view.

Yes, I worded it wrong. We have made sure it is linked in the system as requesting connecting rooms.

Looking at the floorplans that Andre posted, I'm wondering if there actually are any connecting Royal rooms?? Looks like there are 3 pairs that are next to each other but I wonder if they're connecting.

So excited to be returning to POR! We switched from AOA with the new promo. The last time that DH and I were there was in 97 on our honeymoon! Of course it was called Dixie Landings back then we are hoping that we get a room on the AB side, its where we stayed and we still love the looks of that area better than the mansions side...plus then our 2 boys won't have to fight all night to move over! I requested bld 17!

Yes they do. We had connecting RGR River View in October, was very nice. One was a corner room so we were able to have dinner and watch the movie out the side window one evening.

We are here now...absolutely love the resort and having an absolute ball!! I think not making a room request was a bad idea though, lol! I think we may be in THE furthest room from just about everything....like literally in the very back corner of the resort/building. Oh well! I am learning so much as I go along about all this. I just tell myself the mishaps will just help me get it all right next time

I like that view too! Very nice, thank you for the picture. It sums up a lot of why we love POR! We will be using the military discount so I think the view is worth the small price increase.

Two more questions. Does POR pool have a kiddie wading pool? Also, do you win prizes at the arcade (you can at AoA).

Yes there is a 1ft to 1.5 ft deep circular pool for babies, and kiddies on Old Man Island.

quick question:
Going with my 3 yo DS in Feb, booked a Royal Garden View, would we be able to get bed rails from the resort, or should we figure something else out?

Thanks!

You can request them from housekeeping when you check-in and receive your room.

Is bld 17 close to a laundry room? Is that what the little square on the map is?
