Palo & Remy Questions

I was able to score Palo Brunch, Remy Brunch & Palo Dinner - Palo Brunch is exactly when I want it, now I would like to change Remy so we're not doing back to back brunches. I have posted about my Palo Dinner confusion (booked during the Pirate Party) and know I'm not keeping that reservation time, it has been suggested I keep it for now & try and change it onboard.

My question is this: do I need to decide prior to the 3 day cancellation period OR can I wait until I'm onboard and see if I can switch my days around? If I'm not able to, will there be penalties for not canceling on the ship rather than prior to the 3 day rule?

How did you book a Remy brunch? I thought you could only do that once on board? i am sailing in 3 weeks and there is no place for me to book the Remy Brunch on line....

Remy Brunch is listed in Adult Dining activities on my page. That's how I booked it.

Just be sure to go up to the booking desk on the day you board the ship - if the CMs have the availability to move things around for you they will. I wouldn't think it would be too difficult ... they do it all the time. As long as you cancel on that day you shoudn't need to worry about the fee, but ask them about it while you're there just to set your mind at ease.

DCL just opened online Remy booking within the last 10 days or so .... I found out by accident last week and was also able to book a brunch online. It is now being offered on all days at sea, so if you don't see it for your cruise the online slots are most likely gone but you can still try to book once onboard.

That stinks... They must have just added that, and now all of the reservations for my cruise are gone...

Oh, you can wait until you get on board and try to switch your brunch reservations around, no problems. Just go to the designated area once y our board and see what they can do for you.

don't worry too much ... remember that they always hold some back for booking onboard. that was the only way we scored Palo brunch on the Dream last year because all the online reservations were already gone at the 90-day mark.

I'm sure you will still be able to snag a spot!

I just realized that all three of us appear to be on the same cruise in three weeks.

If you're on the Oct. 20th Fantasy, when I log in I still see Remy Brunch avail. and Palo Brunch on Day 2 10:00 am. I would check the site periodically every day, that's how I was able to book- just did it yesterday.

We have a Palo brunch booked for that day....I am not in the mood to play musical brunch reservations! I checked the two sea days that I don't have a brunch scheduled and they is nothing. no big deal. Probably wont' even bother once we are on board...

It was really easy to change things at the Palo/Remy desk, the young ladies on the Fantasy working the desk were nice as could be, and the Meridian bar, although it was not serving, was a quiet and non-populated place to wait for the staterooms to be ready. And we met the food and beverage manager. He checked up on us for the whole cruise.
