Never realised it could be sooo time consuming !!
finding the best deal !! hours just seem to dissapear then trying to compare the value of staying off site v onsite with dining plan etc !!
i was firmly set on september but just spent the last 2 hours on kayak following on and tweaking dates for the august link that wayne posted !! and am amazed at how much diference adding or removing just one day can do to the prices

This is why I have said for years, if you are set on your plans you will probably pay far more than if you can be flexible. I you can change your dates by a few days, fly into or out of different airports, fly indirect etc.
It is very time consuming but can be very rewarding.

When I booked for our recent trip, by flying out 2 days earlier and coming back one day later, effectively adding 3 days to the vacation, it still worked out cheaper even with the additional 3 nights accommodation added, purely by the massive difference in flights.

I usually do try to be flexible, but because we're going for three weeks next year I had to get written permission to take three weeks off work. Therefore I had to book our flights on specific days. I'm sure that I could've got cheaper flights if I had the time to spend searching but I haven't so I just went ahead and booked them. Hopefully you guys that can be flexible and have the time to spend searching will get some awesome deals!
