grand floridian cafe or kona for lunch?

Which one would you go to for lunch? My husband wants to try the GF burger, but I want to try kona. We are a house divided! Help!

Does the GF burger really have butter poached lobster on it? I saw that on the menu and thought it was a misprint.

I also vote GF - I like Kona, but for lunch I love the GF lobby, atmosphere - and the GF cafe has always been a good spot for us, for lunch outside the park.

I'd say GF Cafe.

That is not a misprint, it does have butter poached lobster on it. DH likes that, but I love the Nicoise Salad.

I like Kona for breakfast & dinner, but was not wowed by lunch. Maybe it was the dish I ordered & I should give it another try....

Both resorts are beautiful, but the GF Cafe itself is more charming than Kona. Service has been about equal at both.

I don't suppose there's any way you could do both?

I'm going to agree with the group, we love GFC for lunch, and that burger is absolutely the best ever. We love Kona for breakfast and like it a lot for dinner, but lunch, not so much. Also, both resorts are gorgeous, absolutely. But if it was me I would aim to do GFC for lunch and maybe a breakfast (OOP if on dining plan) at Kona. GFC feels more laid back, more relaxed to me, I think there might be a couple more inches between your table and the next one there, LOL.

I really DO want to live there!
I circulate my paper clips at work so they all get used or I feel like they'd be sad if they didn't get a "turn".

Don't be lured into trying the lobster topped burger at The Turf Room, though. It's pretty nasty.

Kona has fallen off so badly, in terms of service and food quality that I wouldn't bother to go there for breakfast either. Stopped going there about three years ago, actually. (When the server was so nasty we actually reported her in writing).
