emmebear said, "My battery died after the bread. My friend had the salmon and I had the pork. We each had the strawberry cream cheese cupcake and received the "Gray Stuff" as a surprise."



emmebear added, "Overall, an ok meal. Service not up to par with the setting. I'm sure the kinks will work out soon. The castle was beautiful at night. The beast was awesome. He walked around the restaurant every 30 minutes. Then you can take a picture with him after your dinner. Great interaction!"

Note from jabead: In case you have not been to WDW during this time of year, here is an explanation of the World Showcase Storytellers.

One of the really special things about celebrating the holiday season in Epcot is learning about the holiday traditions of all the different countries. Each country has its own special theme that highlights its culture. Storytellers will delight you with tales of their heritage and how the holidays are celebrated in their homeland. It's a unique opportunity to learn more about the world in which we live. Check the times guide for storytellers' schedules.

DsnyMama - Amber will be at the AK Villas and CSR from 11/26 - 12/5, along with her kids, Ava and Levi. This time she's leaving her hubby home, but taking Grammy Suzanne along. This will be Grammy's first-ever trip to WDW and she is very excited to try all the delicious food there. Suzanne has apparently been drooling over it for 59 years now...boy, that's a lot of drool! Hope you have a fantastically delicious 1st trip!!! Amber's PTR and PDR

Interesting to compare Emmebear's BOG review to Vicki's (Goofyson'smom) BOG review she just posted.... makes me a little nervous to dine there but honestly, for the theming alone I'd go and just enjoy the beautiful restaurant.

Love the adorable traditional Korean roayl dress that Emme wore.

Every time I see La Cantina de San Angel it makes me wish I could squeeze in one more meal - those nachos look awesome. (It also reminds me that I owe myself an avocado margarita! )

I definitely think they will work out some of the kinks. But I don't know that it will ever be a spectacular meal. That said, the atmosphere is really great and I am a firm believer that everyone should try a restaurant at least once if it interests them. So, yes ... give it a try!

And yes, you must have an avocado margarita! Ooooh, so good!
