Candice said, "Very tasty! Hard to eat though."

Candice said, "Absolutely loved this and would go back again for this."

Candice said, "Eric liked this but said the rice was a little hard. He loved the berry colada on the side in the picture."







From Mexico: Crispy Shrimp Taco with Chipotle Lime Mayo and Cabbage served on a Flour Tortilla


Candice said, "Tasty and fresh, didn't taste so much of the shrimp though."

We will be at BLT Jan 22nd - 28th I am mostly a lurker but would be willing to do live updates. We have mostly character brekfasts (our son's first trip at 20 months :-) ) and a TS dinner every night. I LOVE this thread and look at it all the time so would like to contribute!

Ellen said, "Pod's black grouper was incredible!







Chermoula-roasted Nigerian Prawns with English Pea Nage and Saffron Rice with Orange and Olive Salad


Ellen said, "I had the prawns...they were enormous! A ton of spice on them for my taste, but I thought the rice with the olives was fantastic."


I of course then had to ask Ellen if her prawn were headless or not?


Her reply, "With heads! I'm no wimp."

Freeze-dried ice cream! It's been years since I last had that stuff...but I don't miss it.

And I love the Jiko update! That doro wat dish looks fantastic - I've always enjoyed doro wat at Ethiopian restaurants, and the egg on top is a perfect, authentic touch. Even though we loved the peri peri chicken, it's nice to see that the new chicken dish still features authentic African influences. The only thing missing is some injera bread for scooping everything up.

MMM, I love freeze dried Ice Cream. I used to get it from the Air and Space museum in DC every visit.

Jiko looks so good. I can't wait to try it as my first signature ever in January.

DH and I, maybe with two friends, maybe not, will be at Wilderness Lodge Villas from January 11, 2013 through January 18, 2013. We still aren't sure of our dining plans yet. Alot depends on whether our friends go, whether we get an AP and how much money we have after the holidays.

We are for sure doing the following: O'Hana dinner, Fultons for lunch (love the fish tacos) and Il Mulino.

Will update more later, and hope to get down some plans. Looking forward to my first time taking photos. My other reviews have been photo-less. I am also looking forward to updating LIVE!!
