Vicki said, "This was good but tasted salty because of the cheese."







Bowl of Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup made with Moosehead Beer and Bacon


Vicki said, "Wanted to try it for the reviews it gets, but it was just alright. It was too salty for my taste, but tasted alright when dipping the bread in it."







New York Strip Steak topped with Bercy Butter and served with Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes


Vicki said, "Yum, this was wonderful!"








Wild Mushroom Filet Mignon
Le Cellier “Signature Dish” served with Wild Mushroom Risotto and White Truffle Butter Sauce


Vicki said, "My friend and sister both got this and loved it. The meat was tender and the risotto was really good."







Chocolate Pecan Pie “On-the-Rocks”
Chocolate Whipped Cream, Graham Cracker Crumbs, Sugared Pecans, and Canadian Whiskey-Chocolate Sauce


Vicki said, " I really enjoyed this and it was huge compared to the other desserts."







Chocolate “Moose”
Chocolate Mousse rolled in Toasted Chocolate Crumbs with Maple Leaf Antlers



Vicki said, "Another good dessert. Thought the moose would be like a cake but it was actual chocolate mousse inside."






Cheesecake with White Chocolate and fresh Seasonal Berries on a Citrus Shortbread Cookie


Vicki said, "This was light and delicious, it had a citrus flavored biscuit on the bottom."

There's an artichoke pizza flatbread? OMG, something new that I will need to try! I love how we come home from WDW to learn about even more snacks that I want to try.

Good news here- we booked our WDW trip for next August. A whole week at POR before we get onto the Freedom of the Seas.

I've been having a lot of health issues this fall, but this thread is the best pick-me-up after a long day of work and doctor's appointments.

Vicki also visited the Japan booth at the Food & Wine Festival yesterday and got these two items...





Sukiyaki Beef Pan (Marinated Thinly Sliced Rib Eye with Sauteed Onions and Teriyaki Sauce Served in a Bun)


Vicki said, "This was good except for the sauce made the bun soggy."







California Roll (Avocado, Cucumber, Crab, Mayonnaise, Smelt Roe Rolled in Sushi Rice and Seaweed)


Vicki said, "This was very good and fresh."




Regarding their dinner last night, Vicki said this...

"Last night we had dinner at the Mara but since we were at the pool I didn't have anything to take pictures with. We had 2 Caesar salads with chicken, that both my sister and friend disliked. They said the lettuce tasted like it came from a bag and the dressing really wasn't good. I had that night's special which was nut crusted salmon with jasmine rice. This was wonderful, it didn't look or taste like CS food."

Vicki said, "I had the crispy mahi mahi which was my absolute favorite entree from last year. It didn't disappoint and so far it's my favorite from this trip too."







Shaoxing Steak and Shrimp
Skirt steak, tempura-battered shrimp, jasmine rice, stir-fried vegetables, chili plum dipping sauce


Vicki said, "My sister had the steak and shrimp. This was good too, the steak had a good marinade."







Baby Back Ribs
Slow-roasted ribs, hoisin BBQ sauce, chicken fried rice, sweet chili slaw


Vicki said, "My friend had the ribs and she loved them. She said the sauce was great. It was a little sweet with a little kick."







Fried Wontons
Skewers of fresh pineapple and cream cheese wontons, vanilla ice cream, honey vanilla drizzle


Vicki said, "For dessert we all got the fried wontons. This is the best dessert on Disney property! The flavors blend so well together."

Chicken Penne Alfredo & Tie-dyed Cheesecake


Nikki said, "The chicken alfredo is pretty okay. The alfredo sauce isn't very flavorful but the chicken is cooked just right.
The breadstick is garlicky and soft."

As for the cheesecake, Nikki said, "The cake part is a bit soggy. It must have been a very moist batch.
Love the cheesecake part though."

Agreed with everything - thanks so much for the shout out, sunnysideup3, and have a great time! (and of course, some awesome food)

The live updates are all so fun to read - I wish I had a trip planned just so I could send in a few updates of my own.

Speaking of live updates, someone needs to get to Flying Fish to report on the Canadian cheddar cheese soup and pumpkin brioche bread pudding.
