Just popping in to say I'm still loving this thread even though I've been lurking. We had some bad news and I'll be going for surgery on Wednesday but also some good news because I made it to round 2 of the Disney Moms Panel.

Looking forward to the new reviews this morning while I'm stuck out on a high school football field

We were fortunate enough to be there yesterday for soft opening of Belle & Ariel. BOG was not open, but Gaston's Tavern was. Both the attractions were fabulous. The interactive experience with Belle was very cool...even better than our DD was chosen to be The Beast. I'm not sure if it was open again today, but they did tell us it was not going to be open for MNSSHP. I'm hoping we get to catch it open again next week so we can get more pictures...but not so much that it spoils the magic!

Paula (smile4stamps) & Hunter attended the Swan & Dolphin Food & Wine Classic last night.
Paula sent us a few preview pics to show us a little of what we have to look forward to when she does a review of this event in her Dining Report.













Paula said, "It was awesome!! Of course, unlimited food & wine = sleepy, happy people!!

I have a funny story to share with you regarding my text exchange with Paula last night. My DH and I were out shopping last night...mostly for boring "man" stuff like caulk and electrical boxes but we did look at keyboards for my IPad because my DH said I've been hogging our shared laptop lately (Go figure! ). At about the same time that I received a text from my DD letting us know that she was getting off work, I also received Paula's update regarding her evening at the F & W Classic. Well, I responded with..."We will meet you at Steak 'n Steak. Is that okay?" To which I received the reply, "Bed for us." So after a few seconds of wondering why my DD was going to bed at 9:00 on a Saturday night and who exactly the "us" was, it finally dawned on me that I had sent the text to the wrong person. Although I would have happily met up with Paula & Hunter last night, I think they were way too full and sleepy for Steak 'n Shake.

jabead . . .ask some of your live reporters if they are needing long sleeves at night. The temps for next week are forecasted to be a couple of degrees cooler than yesterday or the day before. I'm thinking long sleeve T-shirt, but am wondering what they've observed others needing.

That's too funny about the text exchange mix up!!! I mixed up one of my sons and a friend one time and asked if they wanted me to transfer some $ to them to purchase airfare for a trip... the male friend asked "sure, where are we going and won't your husband feel left out?" Oops!

It looks like Paula and Hunter did not make the mistake at YSH of ordering the cheese plate with the goo! Their F&W selections look like the perfect sampling of deliciousness!

And then finally... one of my all time favorites made an appearance - the pancakes and Tonga Toast at Kona!!! Awesome!!!
