BOMA

"First plate: Macaroni and cheese, tomato and eggplant salad, spinach with quinoa salad, artichoke lemon salad."

Roasted chicken, carved roast sirloin, some kind of beef, and lamb quiche

Roast pork, chicken, beef, and a teaspoon of mac 'n cheese

Fresh fruit, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes

elleavon said, "I was pretty cautious, not having any idea what I was eating. Everything turned out to be pretty good. My favorite was the carved sirloin with 4 dipping sauces. None of them was too hot for me, and I'm kind of wimpy when it comes to spicy food."

Chocolate chip cookie, chocolate mousse bite, zebra dome, cheesecake bites, and gelatinous mango bite

"We loved the zebra domes."

That Boma food makes me excited about going there in April. I wasn't sure about it, but based on your pictures, we should be fine!

Thanks!

Speaking of Linda (Linda67), let's check in with her over at...

DISNEYLAND PARIS

Linda said, "Morning Barb! Breakfast is included in the room rate at Hotel New York.
Coming up are shots of the buffet..."

Cereal

Yogurts & Fruit

Pastries & Breads

Hot Foods - Bacon, eggs, sausage and tomatoes

Cold Meats & Cheeses

"My selection: Grapefruit juice and coffee. The coffee was really good!"

"Also, yogurt and fresh fruit. Exactly what you would expect - the fruit was nice and fresh."

Scrambled egg on toast

"The egg was 'interesting'. Not bad but rather odd in texture. I think it was made from pretend egg!"

"Off to the parks now... Bye bye!"

When we last heard from Linda, she had finished her breakfast and was off for a day of fun at...

DISNEYLAND PARIS

Here was Linda's next update, "Mid morning snack was at Salon Mickey."

"Salon Mickey is a private club for Disneyland Paris shareholders. It's located next to the entrance turnstiles.
You have to knock using the brass door knocker to get in - very cool."

Here's a couple of interior pics...

"Once you enter Salon Mickey you are offered a choice of pastries and cookies. There is a fridge with juice and water and coffee, tea, cappuccino, and hot chocolate are available - all complimentary."

"I had a cappuccino and this yummy pan au chocolate. It's actually filled with a chocolate/hazelnut filling (a bit like Nutella) and was delicious with a capital D!"

"The hostess insisted I take a cookie for later. I took a quick photo and popped it in my bag.
I haven't had it yet but it sure looks good."

"Walt seemed happy with my choice of pastries."

Linda's next update was from her lunch in Fantasyland at...

Pizzeria Bella Notte

"This is a very nice counter service restaurant that specializes in Pizza, Pasta and Salads. I was struggling to find an places with non-meat options so when I saw that they had a vegetarian pasta, I hopped right in."

"Isn't the box cute?!"

"Not a great pic but it tasted better than this photo looks."

"This is Fusilli Napolitana - 7.30 euro. Basically it was just pasta with a tomato sauce. I was a little disappointed not to see any chopped veggies in the sauce, but I have to say this was actually very tasty and the sauce was really tasty. The portion size was just right as well."

I don't know. They're right side up to me? How odd!

Ok, well hopefully it's just a temporary thing with the new Photobucket system and it will all get straightened out soon. In the meantime, I apologize to those who have upside down pics. Maybe hold your screen upside down?

Lol- its even weirder- they're upside down on the thread, but when I enlarge the pic itself, it's right side up, so I won't have to do headstands after all! Altho I'm willing to for Disney food!

And here is Linda's last update from today...

Linda said, "I headed back to the hotel for a while in the afternoon before walking back to DLP to enjoy the rest of the day. My receipt for lunch at Belle Notte included a voucher for a free hot drink between 3 & 6 pm at a variety of CS places. I grabbed a hot chocolate on Main Street. Anyone who has ever tried hot chocolate at DLP will tell you that it's just the best!"

"After a drink at the New York City Bar at the Hotel New York (which looked exactly like the drink I had last night!!), I strolled across to Earl Of Sandwich - well it's just so close !!"

"Sorry to anyone who was expecting fine French dining but this was just what I fancied."

The Vegetarian - feta, salad and the EOS special dressing

"Another winner!"
