We are driving home today and tomorrow, but glad to have our snacks from WDW in our portable fridge. The turkey and Brie sandwich we packed from the Beach Club grab and go was great but hubby said the tuna was so so.

Safe travels home, Ginamarie! And thank you so much for two weeks of delicious updates. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!

Oh, and please don't be a stranger, 'cause you are now a part-owner of this thread. Also, I really want to hear about how your surprise went with the kids. I bet they were super happy to have one extra day at Disney World!

They were so excited and happy! I pretended that we were just walking through the resort and then let my daughter try a key on a "random" door. She couldn't believe it opened!

I will definitely stick around the thread. We didn't spring for APs, so it's likely 18-24 months until our next trip to WDW. I will need to eat vicariously through the thread!

Rachel & Family were at Epcot today, where they had lunch at...

LE CELLIER

But you will be surprised to see that the picture that Rachel sent to me was not of the Mushroom Filet.

Le Cellier House Burger - roasted mushrooms, smoked bacon, maple barbecue, Black Diamond Cheddar, and crispy onions, and french fries

Rachel said, "This was delicious!"

Also I asked Rachel to try her luck with taking menu pics...

And the Lunch Prix-Fixe Menu

Rachel & Brian had dinner for two tonight at their resort's Signature restaurant...

JIKO

And Rachel chose this for her entree...

Sikhumbuzo's Peri Peri Chicken with Herb-Crushed Potatoes, French Beans, Mango Sambal, and Onion Jus

Rachel said, "This was very tender. I would definitely recommend it!"

Our APs have been getting a workout, and so has our TIW card!! Since I won't have major dining reports anymore, this is perfect!! Hello to all :wave;

With all the recent discussion of Le Cellier, now I'm more curious than ever to see how their lunch menu changes in January (once it becomes a 2-TS meal, like dinner).

Good point, I'd forgotten about that
Personally I just don't regard LC as being in the same league as say, Jiko or Yachtsman
I wonder if people will be willing to spend two credits on a lunch at LC when for the same credits they could have dinner at the updated California Grill whilst watching the fireworks?
