One unofficial website is reporting it. If Disney announced, the others should be picking up soon.

So excited!! Kenny is usually spot on, so I feel pretty good about this one. DD loves Beast, can't wait for Jan!

Yeah if this is true (which I'm still not ready to believe just yet) it would definitely be an added bonus.

I am guessing here, that reservations may not be doing so well!

Have you tried getting a reservation?? It's nearly impossible for the next three months...

However, maybe they aren't doing so well for the three months after that though... Haven't tried checking for anything from Jan to Mar.

The more I'm thinking about what you said the more I'm leaning towards believing that it might be true...

It's more of an additional income stream through photopass than an issue with bookings. Otherwise they would wait until the place loses popularity

I think this is probably it. I'm completely unimpressed by the news of this. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm very happy that this is not a character meal and would have been just as happy to have had a Beastless dinner.

We may have to rethink if Beast will be there. We are not interested in the characters at dinner. Just want to relax and eat. I know they don't bother you and they can tell if you are into it or not but I would rather not deal with them at all. We will probably take the monorail to Poly and eat at Kona instead.

Hi
I think if he is there, it's probably so you can get your picture with him, like you can at Chef Mickeys before dinner and with Donal Duck before breakfast at the Tusker House. They want you to buy the picture!!

Fear not, you who do not want to interact with a character at dinner, from what I understand, the beast will not be "roaming" as in a traditional character meal, but only before you are seated as a photo-op. I, for one, am excited about it!

Oh that will be awesome if it's true!!! Now I'm even more determined to score an ADR there in April

Sounds like it will be an Akershus type thing - where you get the pic before you are seated, so character-phobic types can just skip it. It's a win-win!
