as some of you may be aware a 15 year old schoolgirl has gone missing and is believed to be in France

The girl goes to my daughters school and the teacher she is believed to be with was her maths teacher as well

as you can imagine dd is very upset and has asked me to see if anyone may have seen her on these boards

A very sad state of affairs, hope she is found save and well soon. I could not begin to understand what her poor parents must be going through.

This happend to a classmate of mine many years ago when I was in high school taking my A Levels, she ran off with the Art teacher, she was 18 and he was 25. They got as far as Gibraltar and came back home after three weeks when their money ran out. They got married a year later and are still together and have grandchildren now. He had to leave the teaching profession of course.

The BBC are reporting that the French Police have found them.

Am over the moon for her parents

they were found in Bordeaux after being seen in Paris on sunday apparently

My daughter phoned to tell me most of her teachers were in tears and that they watched the news instead of lessons !


So relieved they are both safe
