5 Days at Poly, 6 days at WL or 7 days at POR???

Hi everyone! I need help! Planning a September or October 2013 trip to Disney! Past trips have been GF (Honeymoon), 3 stays at CBR and 1 stay at POR. Loved all resorts but want to try something different. I have always eyed the Poly and would LOVE to stay there. But when looking at pricing, we keep wondering if it's really worth spending the extra money on the room or should we just spend it on extra days? Help!!!!

I would go with either 6 days at WL or 7 at PoR. There's no way I'd ditch any more days than that to stay at the poly.

We stay at both the Poly and WL. This trip we opted for WL with an extra day. Since we love both resorts we decided it was more important to us to stay longer. The price of Poly just seemed too outrageous this time for just a room.

Personally, I would do the 7 nights at POR. Our first priority is the amount of nights, and we prefer 10. For our upcoming trip, I would LOVE to do all 10 nights at POLY CL, however, in order for th trip to fit into our budget we are doing 5 nights at Yacht Club and then 10 nights Poly CL. I will not compromise on the amount of nights.

I'm in the minority as I would go with the Poly. We love the WL as it's a geat resort (have never stayed at POR), but the Poly is our absolute favorite and if I had to choose between that with less days or a different resort for a day or two more, the Poly would win out for me.

I definitely prefer deluxe to moderate and the WL to the Poly so easy decision for me - WL all the way!

The Poly is my fave too but I need more nights at Disney so I'd go with 6 at WL or 7 at POR. What about a split with like 4 POR and 3 Poly? I'd do the Poly last. Obviously that won't work if you are doing a dining plan since you have to buy base tickets to get it but for room only it works out great

I need the most nights I can get out of our vacations! Which means I'd be staying at POR (which I love anyway, so no hardship there).

Couldn't agree more ! More days...more important. POR is a very relaxing and beautiful resort. Poly would be more convenient b/c of the monorail and the better restaurants, but, if it means you can have 2 extra days...no question about it! Give me the extra time at WDW !

WL fans here.... Poly has out priced itself for us.... Monorail is not worth what that loop charges! We're also resort snobs and do prefer deluxe, though last trip was to POFQ for our daughters family's sake.... It's only a one night difference we'd definitely go with WL on location alone!

Another Poly fan here!! I had even thought of switching to AKL for our next trip because it's considerably cheaper, even the SV room is much cheaper than the standard view at the Poly, but I can't quite bring myself to do it. That being said, I would have to recommend the 5 days at the Poly over 6 days at WL or 7 days at POR.

We've stayed at all three. We love the Poly, but if it is between that and more days, we would pick more days every time. WL and POR are both nice resorts and we would stay at either one again and be happy about it. The boat to the MK is great from WL, but I think if it meant cutting the trip a day short, I would probably go with POR.

Thanks for all the responses! I think we are leaning towards 6 days or WL or 7 days at POR! I think more days in WDW is going to win over a fancier hotel!!
