I'm very new to DVC so please excuse my lack of Knowledge
Really hope you guys take it easy on me
 Lets say I wanted to get only 80pts/yr can this happen? TIA!

i only get 40 pts per year, so "yes."
used to be, you had to go resale for smaller contracts but sometimes DVC will sell you an 80 pt contract direct if you prefer...

My advice... First, buy resale. Second... Be patient if you want 80 and only 80... And maybe be a little flexible in the points you're looking for. To get exactly 80 points might be tough.... But you might find contracts of 75 or 85 that can work too.

So, I just got off the phone with a DVC cast member, he is sending me an info packet and told me that the minimum amount of points I can buy is 100 for $13,500. For every 100 I invest in I get an extra 10.
I've watched the DVD and will review the packet. Can you direct me to a resale list, if available. Thanks so much!

Just Google "Dvc resale.". There are four main brokerages whom users of this site have generally reported good luck using.
And take at least a month to follow and explore these boards before you make any purchase decision. I did and it saved me a huge amount of money. |

Ditto to previous posts and do not hesitate to contact DISboard members privately for more info about the various resale agencies. We have made numerous resale contract purchases and most around 50pts. Be mindful of the home resort you wish and the Use Year you desire. Good luck!
