Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup like DD's

Has anyone found a Pumpkin spice coffee syrup that tastes like Dunkin Donuts'? I purchased their ground Pumpkin spice coffee grounds, but it is not anywhere near the same as when I purchase the coffee made and they add the syrup.

I've seen recipes out there, but haven't tried any yet....probably will soon.

I am tempted to order a large Pumpkin spice coffee, no milk, no coffee just to see if I can get some of that syrup and make mine at home!!!

Has anyone found a copycat syrup?

I haven't had any pumpkin spice syrups before, but I thought I could at least try to help you.

DaVinci, Torani, and Monin all make Pumpkin Spice syrups. I can't imagine Dunkin Donuts uses anything special in their coffee drinks. Those 3 brands are the most popular syrup brands.

Torani has a Pumpkin Pie spice syrup. I don't know if it's new this year or not, I didn't see it last year. I bought it at World Market, it's about 16 oz in a squeeze bottle. It's more the consistency of an ice cream topping than most Torani syrups.

I don't usually drink coffee, but I've put it in chai and in cocoa and it tastes really good. My daughter is at school, she's put it in her coffee and said it was "yum"

My DD at college is having a similar dilemma, only it's with the Starbucks pumpkin spice syrup. I was a Starbucks partner for years and know that there is no substitute and they don't sell it. It's not a thin syrup like the brands you can get retail. She's tried them all, to no avail. We went to visit her yesterday and drove an hour to the closest Starbucks so she could get her (now yearly) fix.
Starbucks has a Pumpkin Spice via product for sale, I haven't tried it so I don't know if it's the same.

Edited because Sbux now offers the syrup online for purchase.

Yum! LOVE Pumpkin Spice coffee but you are right, it never tastes the same at home. Great idea for the syrup! Definitely going to check that out. Thanks!

Archer Farms (Target) has a decent pumpkin spice syrup. It's more spice than pumpkin, but it's worth checking out.

You can buy the pumpkin spice syrup (it is called sauce on the site) on the Starbucks website!

Enjoy!

I don't know if Starbucks are individually owned and operated therefore allowing for some differences between stores, but a few around here actually sell their syrup occasionally. It's not all the time, and it's not all of the stores. It seems to be at the end of a season if they have excess of a flavor. Then again there are a few stores who will make a mocha coconut in Dec or a peppermint white chocolate in July if you ask and others who say "that's a seasonal item" (of course that could be individual baristas too)

Or you can try this.....

I think the trick is the maple syrup in place of the sugar....I was surprised at just how closely it rivaled Starbucks!

It figures, I left the Starbucks company in 2011. At that time you still could not buy Pumpkin Spice or White Mocha syrups. Literally 5-6 times a week someone would ask for them, so I'm glad they finally realized the gain in customers to have the syrups available for purchase-although it is only online. We could sell any of the regular bottled syrups, but not the specials that came in a thicker consistency, mainly because they expire quickly after opening.
Starbucks stand alone stores are all company owned. The ones in Target or Barnes and Noble are licensed, no such thing as owning your own or franchise.
