After you explain why cartoon characters have 4 digits, would you then explain the tv show "Lost"... (refering to the statue with 4 toes) hehe

Maybe so Carol, but that's a good one!

You too PWDebbie!

As for LOST, only explanation is... well, actually, there is no justifiable explanation for that show...

I really DO want to live there!
I circulate my paper clips at work so they all get used or I feel like they'd be sad if they didn't get a "turn".

There is an old phrase in theater, so old it goes back to Greek theater!!! As in ancient Greek, Athens!

"Deus ex machina".

It means "god from the machine". It is used by bad lazy writers to easily wrap everything up... like the hero suddenly finding one last bullet or a giant eagle swooping down at the last minute and grabbing a couple of hobbits from the river of lava...

Nuff said.

I just watched the first two LOTR movies for the first time, and while I haven't gotten to the third yet, this made me laugh.

Don't have any seasonal decorations pics yet-26 days until I do!

senecabeach - Right now I have over 900 Christmas pictures categorized in SmugMug. I don't think I have any other holiday pictures except Christmas....even though I've been at Easter and in early October.......

I think this is my favorite holiday picture even if it is from 2007.

A close-up view of the same scene:

Good luck with the Christmas pics!

As for LOTR, if you want funny, see if you can find the funniest book ever written, *if* you have read LOTR- Bored of the Rings by the Harvard Lampoon.

Cha-ching!

Yep ejud! I got some very nice shots from that balcony if I say so myself....

There's a little story behind getting that room and view.

It was Dec. 15. We were splurging and had reserved Atrium Club level (at AP rates) and when we checked in I found that we were assigned Bay View

So I very nicely went up to the Concierge on duty and politely asked if we could be switched to Theme Park View. After about 5 minutes on the computer, voila....we got a Theme Park View room! (And of course, someone else checking in that day ended up with Bay View but that's Disney for you!)

It was the last year that Theme Park View was the same rate as Bay View on the CL level so we felt really lucky - given a super view room that a few weeks later would have cost at least $45 a night more and only because we asked and one was available. It was a great trip and we loved our room all the more because we got some Disney magic!
