question about flowers
Does anyone have any experience with white or ivory mini calla lillies the day after the ceremony? We're planning to have our photo shoot the next day and I'm wondering if they'll still look fresh or I should plan to get something new.
Thanks!

My SIL had a white lily bouquet for her wedding. She got married in June and I don't know if the heat was a factor or not (they had an outdoor wedding and reception), but they were a little wilted the next day. That being said, they could've definitely been used in pictures, they weren't completely drooping or brown. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so based on that experience I would get a second one.

I'd ask your florist directly what they think. Depending on the time of the year I think you'd be fine to keep the same flowers. Calla lilly's in particular are pretty rigid/I think they crisp up before they wilt, which would be some time in my opinion and not within a day.

If you have a fridge in your room, put your bouquet in it - it should save most of your flowers (depending on what you get, some flowers are more fragile than others and wilt quickly).

Another option would be to make a similar bouquet with real touch flowers for your photo shoot. In pictures they will look real and you won't have to worry about wilting.

If it is a Disney photo shoot, Disney floral has a way of handling this. They can take your bouquet after your last wedding day event, store it, refresh the flowers that need it and will deliver it back to you for your shoot. On my BEO, the refresh is costing me $75.
