Does anyone know is there a Christmas shopping thread or a hottest toy thread yet for this season? I searched but didnt find any.

I am also interested in hearing in what it the "hot" toys., mainly out of curiousity (my babies are older now).

Our local news kept advertising that tonight they would be previewing the top toys and I missed it.

There's already a Furby frenzy going on. The Wii 2 is expected to be big when it hits the market.

Toys R Us is letting you reserve hot toys by putting 20% down. I may do that for the Doc McStuffins toy on the list.

I know my DD will LOVE any Doc toy (she watches Doc every night before her bedtime story), so I feel like this is the best way to make sure she gets one.

I don't understand why the pirate ship is so expensive. I watched the video and it doesn't seem to do much.

I already have the Lego Ninjago Epic Battle set, that one might go to DD too ~ she loves the show. DS's getting a few Lego LOTR sets.

I reserved the Wii U today for only $20, I'm not sure if that is the case for every TRU but it was definitely not 20%.
I saw tons of Furby's but I can't figure out why they cost $55. What the heck do they do that makes them that much?

I'm glad I reserved it then. I'm still on the fence about it, but if I change my mind I can just cancel and get my deposit back.
