photopass and photopass + Q's

Hello!

Can anyone tell me the difference between these??? Do either include photos from BBB and Pirates League? I called Disney's imaging department yesterday but was on hold for a very long time.

I have read Mousesavers info but am still confused.

If anyone can help me with this, I would be very appreciative!

Thanks~

The photopass plus includes select dining and ride picures. It also includes a CD of stock photos.

Both will include all the photos (and your edits) that photopass photgraphers take.

Photopass preorder is $119 and photopass plus preorder is $169.

There are photopass plus faqs here: http://www.facebook.com/notes/disney...50650931518325

To go a little further than the PP- if you just get the photopass, when the photographers take a picture they will give you a little card with a number you enter online later to pull up your picture.

When you get the photopass + they give you a special card. You can ONLY get the ride and dining "free" photos with THAT card. If you do not have photopass+ then you have to pay (I think it's $15 per photo) to get your ride or dining photo codes to add them to your account. You can not get the codes and decide later, you have to have the special pass before you are at the event. I read somewhere that you can get a code or know a time to be able to get your ride pictures later, while there a few weeks ago I was repeatedly told this is not possible and that I had to wait in line to "purchase" my photo with my pass.

To add to the other great info already given, the regular Photopass preorder is 100% refundable if you get home and decide you no longer wish to order the CD. The Photopass+ preorder is NOT refundable.

As for PL and BBB, those photos are included in the Photopass+ option. However, if you purchase the hard copy photo at PL, you can have that digital shot as well as the additional session photos added to your regular Photopass account free of charge. We decided to stick with the regular Photopass because we do not do ADRs nor most of the rides that have included photos. We still come out cheaper by doing the regular preorder and buying our PL pics. However, I preordered back when it was still $99.95, so that makes a difference. If we had to decide between the current preorder prices, we would have likely done the + option.

There is a CD (the Gallery CD) that is included with the Photopass+ option which has 400 or so stock photos. The regular photopass may include a few stock photos, but it will not include all of them. Typically, the stock photos included on the regular CD are only included if you have a special code or if your trip was during a special time. These times include Halloween season, Christmas season, Flower and Garden, etc. The Gallery CD is available for purchase for around $40.

There are seven of us in our party and there may be times when we may not always be together when going on rides or attending events. Can we get purchase one PhotoPass (either regular or Plus) and get two cards?

Multiple cards can be entered to either the regular or plus CD.

However you will only get one "plus" card that will be able to used for the ride and dining photos.

My pp+ says it is refunable, as long as you don't break the seal. The voucher was taped to the outside

Last year we had reg photo pass and did get some ride photos included. Do you think this was an exception? Also had stock photos which I don't need. Only keep ones with family. Really would want ride photos and will order photo+ if needed.

If by some you mean test track, that was correct. I cant think of any other ride that would go onto the normal PP..

Interesting... the preorder page fine print states the following...

"Your Disney Photopass+ Pre-Arrival Package is sold as ALL SALES FINAL and is NOT ELIGIBLE FOR AN EXCHANGE OR REFUND."

I have a PP+ question that I can't find the answer to:
I believe that you get 14 days of ride photos from the time you get your pass. Does anybody know if this is 14 days inclusive of the day you get it? I ask because we're coming over for 2 weeks in October, I've already ordered and received the PP+ pack. We arrive on a Saturday, ideally I want to go across to DTD and exchange the voucher at the photo place on the arrival day, rather than waste time getting it after rope drop the next day planned at MK. However, I'm worried that this will mean we won't be able to get ride photos on the last day of the vacation on the Saturday 2 weeks later, as technically that will be the 15th day of the vacation.

Anybody know if this is the case? Anybody who has had a PP+ tell me what expiry date was on it, and whether ride photos included that date?

Thanks

Interesting, I'll read it again when I get home. It had a sticker and the voucher on the outside.
