It has not been announced yet. But historically they have been at one of All Stars and one Moderate. I highly doubt POR would be the moderate because of the recent renovations completed this year. My guess is that the moderate will be CBR, which it was last year.

Looking at room availability online, CBR is soldout of standard rooms for that week, so it is more likely they are the moderate choice. Only king beds and pirate rooms available. POR has most categories available.

Have you checked for free dining? All Stars rack rate is $95 weeknights and a little more weekends with 2 counter service meals and a snack each day of the stay.
They would need to buy tickets but would probably still come out way ahead.

I'm wondering if all the teams stay for the entire week, or as they are eliminated they head on home? I did notice on the PW site that had info from last year, that they had to book at least three days. Just wondering.

Some do start leaving, but those who have been there before or who can afford it stay all week.

The kids that rely solely on fundraisers to pay for their trip will book the least amount of days and leave as they are eliminated.

I have to agree, I have been to Disney several times during the Pop Warner super bowl and never ran into any issue. The only time you reallt see them in the parks is late afternoon or in the evening as they practice and have games most days.

Try staying in a resort with them.

It isn't the kids, it is the parents......

Never again.

Moving about cheering or chanting ? I do not like the brazillian tour groups chanting..grates my nerves.

Football players and competitive cheerleaders ages 5 to 16.

http://www.popwarner.com/About_Us.htm

The games/competitions are held at Wide World of Sports. They are required to buy a Disney room/ticket package, they cannot stay offsite.

Thank you. Sounds interesting to say the least, I feel for the chaperones. I remember mine as tweens and teens

FYI

This is directly from the pop warner official website

A three (3) night minimum stay is required and includes a standard room at Disney’s All-Star Resorts,
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort or Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. All participants/coaches must
book a package through Disney Sports Travel and stay at these select Walt Disney World® Resort hotels*.

Looks like the resorts for this year are All starts - CSR - and CBR
