4 night Magic out of Galveston

I am just curious if anybody else is booked on the March 19 date yet. I put something on the cruise meet board the other day & got nothing. I checked a couple other cruise websites (that I am not real familiar with) and can't find anyone discussing it. It has been announced for a couple weeks now & there is almost no discussion about it. I figured it would be a popular cruise given its somewhat low cost & the fact it is right in the middle of spring break (at least it is for us).

I did. Nothing much being discussed on that one either.

I am on that cruise, along with my daughters. I asked Irishcowboy if he could start a new thread.....just waiting for him to reply. I too thought this would be a popular cruise. Lets hope for more discounts to come our way.

I was beginning to think that I was being pranked by DCL. Lol Seriously, what is going on with this cruise? They are a lot of inside cabins left also. Therefore, not too many people are booking. My co-worker will be on this cruise also, but she isn't on the boards.

We live in TX, about 4-5 hours from Galveston, so we were soooo excited that DCL is cruising out of Galveston now! Our spring break is March 11-15. Maybe that's why the cruise isn't as full as you would expect? I know all the districts around here have the same spring break. We are trying to do the April 16 sailing, which means pulling kids out of school. It's super affordable, though, so we're willing to do it. If there were sailings in the summer, I would've looked into that. Then my oldest would be able to join us. She's a freshman in college, so she can't miss school.

We are booked on a 4 night in April. Wish the 4 night in March was a tad bit cheaper because I'd take the kids! It's our spring beak too.

Haven't seen much talk about any of the 4 night Galveston sailings

I live in Houston, so I will take my girls out of school for two days (Mon/Tues) I figure two days out of school is better than the entire week. The Feb 5 cruise is really affordable....wish Spring break was during that time.

We are on that cruise with our 4 teenage boys. We also have 2 groups of friends with their teenage daughters. That week is a lot of oklahoma's spring break. I'm trying to get more friends to join us!

We would totally do that! Since DH and I have been together (over 4 years, married 3 years), we have taken the kids to WDW 4 times and have been there WITHOUT kids 3 times!! We were hoping for a kidless trip again this fall during food & wine, but not gonna happen. We have never done a Disney cruise or any cruise for that matter. So we are super excited about this!! We were supposed to get married on the Wonder (hence, my user name that I can't change) but had to cancel that.

I briefly looked at your PTR from your son's MAW trip and wanted to comment. My niece was born with restrictive cardiomyopathy. It wasn't diagnosed until she was almost 5. She was a very sick baby/child. She was then put on the heart transplant list in October and got her new heart 2 months later, 2 weeks after she turned 5. She is a totally different person now, although on numerous medications and still has to have her annual biopsy, be careful around sick people since her immune system is lower, etc. She is almost 11 now, so her transplant was almost 6 years ago.
