I Just had to post that I saw Talking Mickey Yesterday at the Magic Kingdom

I was with my cousin, who has never been too the magic kingdom except for 2 days earlier for MNSSHP

We decided to visited Mickey before we left to go home

while we were waiting to go into the room with MM, a cast member came out and asked us if it was ok to video are visit for internal use only. Well I didn't think too much of it. We go in and I was a little sad because it was just Mickey and not Minnie too

, then he started talking. I got really excited

I videoed the family in front of us, and texted my husband, who was so jealous

I told Mickey it was my cousin's birthday and and had everyone in line wish her a happy birthday.

SO COOL too be a part of

I've seen video of Talking Mickey at Disneyland good to know he is coming to MK at some point too!

I've seen video a year or so ago of talking Mickey and just about cried. It's amazing too I haven't the slightest idea how they do it and I don't know if I want to know. I mean Mickey is standing there talking and blinking, it sounds creepy but he looks real! Just so cool! It's enough to want to take a trip just to meet him myself.

I always make sure to meet Mickey when I go to any Disney park, he is still the idol of my childhood!

That's a really special happening Pam. I'm hoping that Disney can perfect this technology and deploy it widely. Imagine being able to talk to Mickey!

I hope this happens more and more often soon! As my son gets older I know the question of why Mickey doesn't talk will be coming, I dream for the day when he walks up to Mickey and says hi Mickey and Mickey answers back Hi Evan!

Well...for anyone that is interested here's a patent Disney filed back in 1994 with at least an try at this technology.I'm sure they have made a few improvement, but still a very interesting read.
