Southwest 11 day sale
Southwest is having an 11 day sale starting today. Purchase today thru 9/28. Travel from 9/28 to 2/14. Lots of cities listed. There are blackout dates, and travel not valid on Sundays.
This unfortunately did not help me at all, as our city is not listed for our Disney trip and the cost for a short trip i'm taking in Dec. is actually slightly higher than when I booked in June. But I love a good sale  and hope this will help someone else.

I was so excited when I saw the sale . Until I checked and found out the raised the price for us in Houston instead of giving us a deal.

My DD was hopeful when we got the email as she is heading to CA mid-November...ummmmmmm...there was nothing "sale" about the fares from our location to CA

I agree with all the non-plussed posters. This sale is horrible. The price listed on the official Sale page ($242 into SNA) is much higher than the actual wanna get away price ($166). Weird.

Thanks for posting! One of our January flights went down by 2100 points (x3 tickets), so it was quite a savings to rebook!!!

The lowest price I've seen on SWA from Denver to Orlando was back in June..been checking ever since! This "sale" price for 3 tickets was more than double what we paid in June (non-sale price). However, the price for 1 ticket (adding on DB) was lower by about $20. I think it depends on how many tickets are available for the sale price..but I agree. Not a great sale in general for our needs
