Breakfast at Tusker House

If I book a reservation for the breakfast character dining at Tusker House in AK, is that a good way to get in the park early? I'd be real close to KS!

Same thing w/ Crystal Palace @ MK. Get in a little early to MK.

Thanks!

yes indeed! its nice to be one of the first on the safari ride. MK is nice early in the AM too...but only cause youre ahead of the crowd. Main St wasnt that empty when i was there at 745am two weeks ago.

We have done this many times with great success! Considering doing it again for our next trip - We book an early ADR before the Park opens, fill up with a fabulous breakfast, meet the characters in their Safari outifits, then head to KS as soon as we are done. We are typically on one of the first trucks out to see the animals enjoying their breakfast.

We did exactly that in August. Had an 8:00 am Tusker House ADR. Finished breakfast just in time to be one of the first on the safari. Breakfast was yummy too.

Yep, we do that too. 8 am ADR on days the park opens at 9. Its esp. Great at AK because TH and KS are soooo far back in the park so your way ahead of the crowd for sure

Yes! This is exactly what we did during our trip. It was so nice to be in the park before it opened. We will definitely do the same thing on future trips!

Us too! Highly suggest this approach. Love the safari outfits on the characters. And the jungle juice and cinnamon rolls are delicious!

We did the same thing last year and it was great! We finished breakfast by 8:40, so we took a walk around and there was a staff member feeding the flamingos and let my DS help. My DS said it was one of the best parts of the day and we still had enough time to get in line for the safari and be on the second truck out!

I'm wondering what I should do. We got no earlier than 9:10 ADR for Tusker. I was think of grabbing a fast past at rope drop to be able to go right after we eat.

Or should I eat at the hotel and change my reservation for lunch?
