Here are all the cams in one convenient place:

Look for us on the harbor cam, or on the left side of the pier on the cruise cam!

Galveston

It's nice not having to pay airfare. All we have to do is drive.

Does nyone know what time the Disney Magic is scheduled to arrive in Galveston?
We live about an hour and a half away any would like to see her sail in. I guess if it is too early we will see her depart Saturday afternoon.

There's a group that's formed on the cruise meets forum that's going to welcome the ship. Originally the word was she would arrive at 7am but most think it will be before then. The group is meeting at a Denny's at 4am and will track the ship on marine traffic. If you go in the afternoon, it's Shrimp Festival weekend on the Strand too.

I was curious if there was a schedule of when it will be along certain areas of the east coast. We live in Fl on the east coast about 1.5 hour south of PC. I remember many years ago being at the beach and seeing one of the DCL ships offshore. Completely random since it was mid day heading south. Knowing how their iteneraries go, have no idea why they would have been traveling there at that time frame.

Anyway, if I knew the timeframe it would be coming by, I would totally grab my zoom lens and go sit out at the beach to watch her go by!

depends what they mean. If it means port time, no, but I wouldn't fly in at that time if i could help it. I'm a firm believer of flying in the day prior though

I am thinking that perhaps marine traffic is referenced to GMT? That would line up with the port time reported locally... could not confirm that from the tracking site...

I am not sure what time zone that is? But if it is with EST , there is what?...a 2 hour difference in Texas from that? So that would make it 8:20?

So if my figures are right for GMT...it would put the Magic in at 5:20. But I am playing around here blindly with figures.
