One weeekkkkk!
SQUEALS!!!! EEEEKKKKK...
ONE WEEK!!! I am SOO SOO SOO excited. But also getting kind of nervous. If you have read any of my posts, My mom is just really sick. Just nervous about her not having a good time or being too tired, etc. She will be in a wheelchair. We are flying too (with my 4 year old and 11 month old) and my husband has never flown and is nervous..... I am excited to share this with him too but just nervous about taking care of everyone, you know? May need a good stiff one when we land. ![]() Any tips, ideas?? Anything to ease my mind? ONE WEEEKKKKKKK

You can spend the afternoons napping and relaxing by the pool. If your 4 year old is raring to go, maybe he can stay later with your DH or return later with one of you. If you don't want to make your mom feel bad for 'holding you back' blame it on the baby. I need to go back to let the baby nap/get out of the heat/crawl around do you want to go with me? I hope you guys have a great trip. Maybe we'll see each other!

ONE MORE WEEK TOOO!!!!!!!!!! WE are bursting
Anyway, your best bet is to take cues from your kids and your mom. If they start having meltdowns (the kids LOL) and your mom looks tired then head back to the resort for some "down time" at the pool or take a nap. There is usually lots of time later on in the evening to get in some rides or shows. There are lots of places in Disney to get some quiet time as well, like the BABY CHANGING AREAS! They will be your best friend! Know them, love them, and use them! They are air conditioned, quiet, you can feed, nurse, change baby, etc. and just relax a bit. Your mom can go in with you and wait or help out as well if she can. Remember that you will not get it all in no matter what. Try to stick to the kids regular meals or snack times to avoid crankiness and keep hydrated. Have fun, go slow, and my hubby also hates to fly, but does it anyway to go to Disney

Thanks ya'll!! Where are you guys staying? PP- I know you told me before but I can't remember!
I plan to try to utilize baby care centers- I didnt really need them last time because my son was almost 3! I am bursting at the seams! I went and got my toes painted red and white today- MINNIE MOUSE! I even thought about picking up some 5 hour energies.. JUST IN CASE. I know my mom said that if she feels like it, she wants to watch the kids at the hotel one night so we can go out but of course, we will have to see. She skipped her chemo this past month to go, so hopefully everything will be good. It would be kind of nice to either go to the pool alone or even take my oldest son by himself to the parks.

One week for us too, and we're staying at AoA in a LM room - so EXCITED!!
I will confess to being very overwhelmed with planning and have pretty much decided that I can't do anymore. The more I read, the more anxious I get, so I'm not going to read anymore and try to have a good time. We've got tickets for MNSSHP, two ADR's and a Bibbidi Bobbidi appointment, I think we're good for a first visit (for our DD; DH and I have been before but not for over 20 years). Can't wait to go! |
