stroller on bus

My daughter would like to take her jogging stroller on our trip. It is lightweight and easy to push, but my concern is getting it on the bus.Does anyone have any expeerience with getting a stroller on and off the bus.

Thanks

They have to be completely folded down when on the bus. I've never had any problems. Usually my husband handles the stroller and I take our daughter.

The main issue is how easy is it to fold? All strollers must be folded before getting on the bus, and they should be folded before the bus pulls up to the stop to load so you aren't blocking people trying to get on the bus while you are dealing with the stroller.

If your daughter's jogging stroller folds easily and isn't too heavy to carry onto the bus, then she should be fine bringing it.

we used a lightweight jogging stroller last time, no issue. Now, it was a little in the way when the bus was crowded but we were fortunate to only experience that once our last trip.

I have done both an umbrella stroller and a jogging stroller on separate trips. I actually found the jogging stroller to be easier to fold and handle. My piece of advice would be to make sure everything that is in the net of the stroller is in easy to grab bags. The faster you can grab everything out, the better off you will be. If you have a bunch of little items to gather up it will be hard to move fast and get on the bus.

Keep in mind too that there will most likely be times where someone has to stand and hold onto the stroller while the bus is in motion. And hold onto the kids at the same time.
